Positive: What an experience. The whole space is amazing. Nestled away in nature, surrounded by a wooded area with a nearby forest trail to explore. The yurt is spacious, warm, comfortable and clean. All essentials provided, with barbecue and campfire facilities available. Veronika was friendly, welcoming, available and non intrusive. Toilet and shower facilities are new and right next to the yurt. Breakfast was fabulous. I visited with my mom and little niece and we enjoyed every moment. Everything was perfect. Ideal for a base in nature to explore the surrounding areas.

Positive: Veronika is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host who went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests for our stay. She even took the time to create a heartfelt greeting card for my partner, which was such a lovely touch. She checked in with us upon arrival to make sure everything was perfect. The place itself was spacious, dreamy, and exactly what we were hoping for. We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay — an ideal escape for couples seeking quality time together without the distractions of the internet. Highly recommended for anyone looking to truly unwind.

Positive: This little hidden gem absolutely exceeded my expectations. Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!
Summary: Hidden gem in the Irish Wilds
